YVC: The Other Shoe Dropped

We had a good run: the science standards were finally approved, the roadless commission bill sailed through, and the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act resolution was adopted without debate. So it was only a matter of time before the other shoe dropped. This week it did.

YVC: Heading for the Door

As the Legislature moves toward  adjournment, there is a palpable sense of haste at the  Statehouse. Legislators are ready to conclude their business, pass agency budgets  and return to their districts to campaign. While a few issues are still outstanding, we are definitely nearing the tail end of the session.
